Sara

Head Technician

Sara is the head technician at SGVC and has worked here for over 10 years! Prior to working in the veterinary industry Sara worked as a licensed paralegal until deciding that animals were her passion and true calling. In addition to being SGVC’s head tech, Sara is a part time pet sitter and a full-time mother of two 2 legged children, Abigail and Madison, and six 4 legged children which include 2 dogs, Bairdi and Mis as well as 4 cats, Odin, Creed, Mellie and Luke. In what little time she has left Sara enjoys crafting, sewing and video games.

Rae

Veterinary Technician

Rae came to work at SGVC in winter of 2021 after training at Middlesex Community College and Pieper Memorial. Prior to deciding to become a veterinary technician, Rae trained and worked for several years as a carpenter under her mother and grandfather and is skilled enough to run her own wood shop. She generously lent these skills to SGVC for their first annual Halloween fund raiser by helping design and create several of the primary set pieces and has continued to aid in the design of new features for next year. Rae is a talented vocalist and stage performer at local renaissance fairs. She enjoys all things nerdy, spooky and furry, most especially her two furbabies Benny and Aram.

Rodney

Veterinary Assistant

Rodney is an accomplished chef who has worked all over the east coast as well as owning and operating his own restaurant for many years. Rodney joined the SGVC team during the fall of 2021 intending to be a temporary, part-time extra set of hands to help out with curbside during the height of the COVID pandemic. With Rodney and his wife Brandy being lifelong animal lovers, learning to be a veterinary assistant was a perfect fit until the restaurant industry stabilized after COVID and he could return to his culinary career. However, he so quickly fell in love with the Spring Glen community and it’s pets he decided to change careers and is currently working at SGVC full time as a veterinary assistant as well as training to become a veterinary technician!

Abby

Veterinary Assistant

Abby started at SGVC as a volunteer running food and meds in and out of the hospital during the height of the COVID pandemic. She has since officially joined the team as a part time veterinary assistant (as well as working with her mother as a part time pet sitter) with the intention of getting her veterinary technicians license upon graduating high school this year. She is a very talented artist with a strong (but not limited) focus on Anime and, like any teenager, enjoys spending time with her friends. She currently lives with her mother and sister as well as their 6 pets.
