Veterinary Associate

Spring Glen Veterinary Clinic is looking to add an experienced veterinary associate to our talented team in a full-time or part-time capacity. We offer competitive salaries with vacation time and health benefit options, as well as a yearly sum to be used for continuing education credits and/or license renewal fees.

Applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Be board certified
  • Comfortable with routine
  • Trained in soft tissue surgery
  • Trained in basic dental procedures
  • Be positive and personable
  • Be able to work both independently as well as part of a team

Applicant must be able to work at least 1 evening a week until 8pm (preferably Monday or Wednesday), and be able to work every Thursday and some Saturdays. Aside from Thursdays, the schedule is rather flexible and open for discussion.

Veterinary Technician

We’re looking to add a veterinary technician to our team to provide support and assistance to our doctors in a variety of facets. A degree from an accredited college or technical college is required, and past experience is a plus. We’re looking for someone who is able to work well independently as well as part of a team, provide excellent customer service, and perform their duties in a timely manner.

Veterinary technicians are responsible for:

  • Hospital maintenance
  • Assisting the doctors
  • Laboratory procedures
  • Radiology
  • Client communication
  • Medical procedures
  • Pharmacy
  • Operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment
  • Inventory
  • Daily treatment of hospitalized patients
  • Rehabilitation
  • Assisting in the operating room
  • Maintenance of the OSHA and hazardous materials programs

Veterinary Assistant

If you’re looking to pursue a career in the veterinary field, then a veterinary assistant position is a great way to get started. We’re looking to add a hard-working and dynamic individual to our team. Veterinary assistants get to work alongside our doctors and licensed veterinary technicians with every aspect of animal care. A veterinary assistant will also work with clients and their pets, providing great customer service and education to the client. Previous experience is a plus.

A receptionist is the first face our clients see when they come into our practice, and the last one they see before walking out the door.   • Setting up new clients and patients

Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.
